A Charlotte native, Reuben Griffith, Jr. has studied boxing and martial arts since the age of six. (1968).

He is a multi-certified instructor of Filipino-Martial Arts and Jun Fan Martial Arts/Jeet Kune Do under world-renown Guru Dan Inosanto and the late Sifu Larry Hartsell. As Sifu Larry’s “prized pupil,” Reuben exhibits a very high degree of skill and knowledge and was the last original student admitted to the closed door Jeet Kun do classes.

In 2012, Reuben Griffith Jr. was inducted into the Masters Hall of Fame and awarded a Golden Lifetime Achievement Award. He continues to teach privately, and work with MMA fighters and conduct seminars on various aspects of Jeet Kune Do.

Ken is a Judo instructor at 7 Elements. He is a 7th Dan Traditional Jujutsu Sensei, a 4th Dan Olympic Judo Sensei, as well as a Jeet Kune Do Concepts Sifu. Ken was inducted into the Martial Arts Masters Hall of Fame in 2008.

Neil is part owner of 7 Elements. He has extensive business experience and currently owns Malibu Shower Enclosures a leading glass shower door business North Carolina. He has a blue belt in Brazilian Jui Jitsu under Steve Hall. Neil was a NC AAU state wrestling runner up in 2007. He is actively competing in Jui Jitsu tournaments.
